DSI offers client organizations the opportunity to design a unique Voluntary Disability and/or Long Term Care insurance package that meets the specific needs of their employees/members. DSI will build a client-specific website offering only those products approved by the client organization. DSI is not a General Agency or Brokerage Group; we specialize in enrolling large state, regional and national Voluntary Individual Disability and Long Term Care insurance programs. If you have a relationship with an existing vendor that creates a conflict with one of the products DSI offers, no problem…we simply remove that product from the DSI offering.
The Disability Income products can be offered as a stand alone benefit or as a supplemental benefit to an underlying Group Long Term Disability program. The disability products offered through DSI are available on a Simplified Issue Basis and/or Modified Guaranteed Issue Basis. Association products are offered at a 10% premium discount. All other products are offered at 20% to 25% premium discounts.
The products offered by DSI include:
- Long Term Disability Income Insurance — replaces your lost income during periods of long-term disability
- Overhead Expense Insurance — helps business owners pay their fixed business expenses during periods of disability
- DI Retirement Security Insurance — helps replace retirement savings lost during periods of total disability
- Long Term Care Planning — pays for custodial care when stand-by assistance is needed with activities of daily living as a result of physical injury, illness, old age or mental impairment
